Medical waste treatment

Medical waste management entails lowering the nuisance value of medical waste, allowing recovery, reuse, recycling and optimizing collection, transport and disposal.

Depending on origin and type, it falls under the following categories:

  • General Non-Regulated Medical Waste
  • Medical waste assimilated to solid urban waste
  • Harmful Non-infectious Medical waste
  • Hazardous medical waste
  • Medical Waste Requiring Special Disposal

WHAT IS OBTAINED FROM THE TREATMENT OF medical waste THROUGH THE PYROLYSIS PLANT?

Recovered matter

As a result of the working cycle we obtain: ferrous metals, aluminum, water, inert materials. These can be recycled and resold; water can be reused in other work cycles and inert materials can be used for streets.

MW quantity loaded

It depends on region, as well as the agreements between various economic entities.

  Electrical energy production

Out of 1000kg of MW (medical waste) processed per hour we recover electrical power via engines connected through alternators. We obtain 500KWe/h,thus at we get 3.750 MW.

Thermal Energy Production

One working cycle yields a thermal energy production of Din ciclul de lucru se obține o 650 KWt/h, thus at 7500h/year we get 4,875 MWt.
